Middle Tennessee State University, a Public university in Middle Tennessee, was founded in 1911 as a school for teacher training. Around 23,300 students are enrolled in the university. Now, MTSU has started courses in the fields of Aerospace, Business, Mass Communication/Recording Industry and Music/Music Business programs. The university conducts these study programs through its 7 Colleges: Basic and Applied Sciences, Business, Education and Behavioral Science, Honors, Liberal Arts, Mass Communication, and Graduate Studies. The 21 residence halls and apartments of the university provide accommodation to the students.
